Special trains to be organised from Konkan to Pune for Ganpati fest

These are a part of 80 special trains that the Central Railway is running for Ganpati.

The Central Railway will run six special trains to Konkan from Pune for the extra passengers during the Ganpati festival. The booking reservation date will be announced shortly, officials said.

These are a part of 80 special trains that the Central Railway is running for Ganpati. The Pune-Zarap Special Train (01423) will leave Pune at 6.45 pm on September 1 and will reach Zarap at 6.30 am next day. The return train Zarap-Pune Special (01424) will leave Zarap at 11 am on September 2 and arrive at Pune at 11.35 pm the same day.

This train will halt at Chinchwad, Talegaon, Lonavala, Karjat (for 01424 only), Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali and Kudal

The train will be composed of 15 Sleeper Class, five second class chair car and two general second class cum guard’s brake vans.
