Elected representatives in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) were aggressive against the civic administration for not submitting reports assured in the general body meeting and made Mayor Prashant Jagtap call a special general body meeting to discuss the reports.
However, on Thursday, only 10 of the 157 members turned up for the scheduled meeting and it was adjourned for two months due to lack of proper strength.

A lot of crucial issues were listed for discussion in the meeting.

The corporators stayed away from it and the meeting was adjourned till August 22.
The report on illegal construction by private hospitals in the city, violation of rules by contractors providing manpower to civic body, appointment of consultants were tabled for discussion.
