
The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has sought Rs 4.13 crore for repairing the roads dug up by various service providers in its “E” division office. In its “E” division the PCMC has incurred an expenditure of Rs 4.38 crore for filling up potholes.
The PCMC is getting a “discount” of 10 per cent from the contractor. PCMC executive engineer Jeevan Gaikwad said the proposal for getting the amount sanctioned is on the agenda of Tuesday’s meeting. Officials said the amount was large but all the charges would be recovered from service providers.
