After the SSC results were declared on Monday, officials of the deputy directorate of education, Pune, who are heading the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for first year junior college (FYJC, Std XI) admissions released a notification announcing the schedule of FYJC admissions.
The FYJC admission form is divided into two parts and while Part I of the form has been available, both Part I and Part II of the form pertaining to students’ individual scores and list of choice colleges can be filled online at pune.fyjc.org.in between June 6 and June 17 till 5 pm.
Students willing to apply for quota admissions in colleges at Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad can do so directly through the junior colleges between June 7 and June 18 till 4 pm and sample forms for the same are available on the given website. However, it would be mandatory for students to first register themselves through CAP.
The first list of quota admissions would be displayed by the respective colleges by 4 pm on June 20 and students can finalise admissions on June 21 and 22 between 11 am and 4 pm through the online login id of the colleges.
“Individual information of students applying for CAP would be displayed online on June 21 and students need to verify them. Applicants willing to make changes can do so at the help centres till 4 pm on June 22 by downloading a form available online on the website,” said Meenakshi Raut, assistant deputy director of education.
“MKCL would release the final corrected copy of details provided by students on June 23. The first merit list of CAP would be displayed online on June 27 by 10.30 am,” Raut added. Students allotted seats in the first merit list would have to confirm admissions between 11 am to 4 pm from June 27-30.
The second list of quota admission would be displayed by 11 am on July 1 and admissions would have to be finalised by 4 pm on July 2. The second list of CAP would be displayed on July 5 and admissions held from July 7-9 from 11 am to 4 pm.
The third list of quota admissions would be displayed at 11 am on July 11 and admissions would be conducted on the same day by 4 pm. The vacant quota seats would automatically be included for CAP after the third round.
The third list of CAP would be displayed on July 13 and admissions held on July 13 and 14, between 11 am and 4 pm. By July 16, candidates would have to submit the full fees at the respective colleges to confirm admissions. Regular classes would start by July 1, said CAP committee officials.
