‘Fight arthritis’ launched at Sancheti Hospital

Almost 15 per cent of the Indian population is affected by chronic diseases such as arthritis and yet there is a lack of awareness about it.

Almost 15 per cent of the Indian population is affected by chronic diseases such as arthritis and yet there is a lack of awareness about it,Dr K H Sancheti,founder of Sancheti Hospital said.

He was speaking after the launch of a ‘fight arthritis’ drive on Thursday.

Dr Parag Sancheti,chairman of Sancheti Hospital,said that the aim of the drive was to raise awareness about the different types of arthritis and to improve lives by highlighting ways to manage the disease.

World Arthritis Day will be observed on October 12 and the drive will include rallies and exhibition of paintings.
