Maharashtra: 15-year-old ‘hangs self’ after results

A resident of Sabale Nagar in Kurla, police said Abhijit had scored 45 per cent in the exam.

A class X student allegedly committed suicide in his Kurla home Monday night hours after the SSC exam results were announced.

The police said that the body of 15-year-old Abhijit Bansode was found hanging from the ceiling by his parents around 10.15 pm.

He was rushed to Rajawadi Hospital, where he was declared dead. A resident of Sabale Nagar in Kurla, police said Abhijit had scored 45 per cent in the exam.
