When contacted, Rajesh Singhal said: “Congress city president Touqeer Ahmed and his associates are trying to disrupt law and order. A few days back, Touqir Ahmed and others had torched an effigy of the PM, but then we did not initiate any legal step against him. Now, when I came to know about them blackening the poster of the PM, I lodged the complaint.” “Local residents were protesting after employees of a bank refused to give money after 1 pm on Tuesday…We were present near the spot, but did not throw ink on the PM’s poster. Some BJP workers reached later and threw ink on the poster…BJP district president framed me in the FIR,” claimed Touqir Ahmed.
