Accusing the Samajwadi Party government of political vendetta,BSP chief Mayawati today warned of retaliatory action when her party comes to power.

Claiming that some administration and police officers had denied permission for landing her helicopter near the rally venue, she warned: “When the BSP government comes to power next time, strict action will be taken against these officials, and then Mulayam and his son will not be able to save them.”

Lucknow District Magistrate Anurag Yadav, however, claimed that no permission was sought for landing of the helicopter.

Mayawati came to the rally venue in a cavalcade. She also said her party had ensured security of the Ram Manohar Lohia park built by the Mulayam Singh Yadav government and never tried to build government offices or marriage halls inside it. She warned the SP government against “building any such structures” inside the memorials and parks built by her. Mayawati also asked the SP government not to harass Dalit government officers and employees, saying that she had ensured the welfare of all employees belonging to all communities, including Yadavs, during her government.
