A fire broke out on the fourth floor of the Times of India building in central Delhi’s ITO Wednesday afternoon. No casualty was reported in the incident. Five fire tenders were initially rushed to the spot after the Fire Service received a call at 2.20 pm, said Delhi Fire Services director G C Misra. “The fire broke out in a conference hall on the fourth floor. We sent 20 more fire tenders to the spot later,” he added. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. “A case under Section 436 (mischief by fire or explosive substance with intent to destroy house, etc) of the IPC has been registered,” said DCP (Central) Parmaditya.
