In a followup to how Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet had spent funds from the Local Area Development scheme, we compiled a detailed list of how MLAs from AAP and BJP utilised the funds.
In the name of transparency the Delhi government dumped all the funds sanctioned by the MLAs on to their website like WikiLeaks. If a voter wants to know how an MLA from their constituency is performing they must first know their constituency number; for all the 70 MLAs documents are listed according to his/her constituency number.
Names of the MLA or the candidate are omitted from the main list. If the voter does not know the constituency number then it is a case of blind guess work. In case they do know, then the link would take them to another bunch of links which carry the paperwork. So it boils down to adding all the numbers of works carried out by an MLA to know how he/she had spent. If parties talk of transparency then they should work towards making government data more transparent and accessible.
We have painstakingly gathered the data and made the task simpler for the voter. Hope it helps. select from the drop down list
