Delhi Assembly Elections: Why AAP wins social media too

Be it #DelhiDecides or #Decision2015 on Twitter, or ‘Delhi Legislative Assembly’ on Facebook, the social media is flooded with tweets and posts. If you are in the list of even liking three or four media channels, it’s most likely that your FB news feed or Twitter timeline would be overwhelmingly crammed with Delhi Assembly poll updates no matter how long you keep scrolling.

According to Twitter, #DelhiDecides was the top trend with 81,000 tweets, followed by #AapSweeps with 61,000. At 1.30pm, the Twitter trends touched a peak at 160 tweets per minute.
