They then took turns to allegedly sexually assault her while she was not in her senses. Her uncle and aunt had recently met with an accident and the girl, who belongs to Bihar, had come to Delhi around 10 ago to look after them, police said.

They are not in a condition to walk properly and were quite worried after they couldn’t find her, they said. When the girl came back, she narrated her ordeal to her aunt who made a PCR call, police said.

A case under sections 376 D (gangrape), 328 (Causing hurt by means of poison, etc., with intent to commit an offence) IPC and relevant section of POCSO has been registered, they added.

The accused, identified as Prashant (40), Vikas Singh and Sanjeev, both aged 30 have been arrested, said a senior police officer.

Prashant is the landlord of the place where the girl’s uncle and aunt stay and the other two accused live as tenants in the nearby room.

The girl is currently undergoing counselling through an NGO.
