A day after he was made to do forward rolls as punishment for not saluting his senior,Delhi Police Constable Dinesh Kumar was moved out of the Patiala House courts security detail.
Police sources said Kumar has been assigned office duties at the office of Addl CP (New Delhi).
Meanwhile,an inquiry has been ordered against Additional DCP Seju Kuruvilla who allegedly made Kumar do the forward rolls. The inquiry will be conducted by Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime).
While Kumar was not available for comments,his colleagues said his mother was traumatised due to the incident. They said Kumars father died before he was born. He joined the Delhi Police in 2007,the same year that Kuruvilla joined the IPS. A graduate from Meerut,Kumar was posted at the Security department and was assigned duties in the Prime Ministers Security Cell.

A colleague of Kumar said,Dinesh was assigned the Patiala House courts in September last year. To punish someone by making him do forward rolls in front of lawyers and the public must have been very humiliating for him.
Kuruvilla was not available for comment.
