Will expose Delhi leadership, says Amritsar AAP zonal in-charge

Amrinder Singh Toor, who was leading the protest, said the volunteers have decided to carry out a protest against the sacking of Sucha Singh Chhotepur.

SUPPORTERS of former convener of Punjab unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Sucha Singh Chottepur carried out a protest against party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal and party Punjab coordinators Sanjay Singh and Durgesh Pathak. The protesters also pelted stones at the party office. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Speaking to The Indian Express, Amrinder Singh Toor, who was leading the protest, said the volunteers have decided to carry out a protest against the sacking of Chhotepur and “dictatorial attitude” of Sanjay Singh and Durgesh Pathak. Toor added they held a protest outside the party office, which is located near the Mini Secretariat on Jail Road, but when nobody from the party came to listen to them some volunteers got agitated and started pelting stones on the office.
