Delhi resident S K Sharma, who was arrested with country-made weapons on Sunday and introduced himself as a qualified doctor, created a ruckus as he was being produced in the district courts on Monday. He was arrested for raising a false alarm and possessing a country-made weapon in his seized red beacon car near Palsora on November 14. He had called the police control room saying someone had fired at him. When the police reached the spot, they found him in possession of a weapon and four live cartridges and arrested him. He was sent to four days’ police custody so that the cops can verify his identity and confirm how he came to possess illegal arms and cartridges. The police said Sharma was not in possession of valid documents for his red beacon car and two fake registration number plates had been recovered from him.
