Dengue in Mohali: 2 more deaths, 794 cases

The District Epidemiology Officer (DEO) Dr Avtar Singh said that both the deaths took place at a private hospital in Phase VI.

A 71-year-old woman and a Panchkula resident lost their lives due to dengue in Mohali Monday. As many as 72 patients were tested positive for dengue Monday, said health authorities.

The District Epidemiology Officer (DEO) Dr Avtar Singh said that both the deaths took place at a private hospital in Phase VI. He further added that the total number of the dengue cases has gone up to 794. The district has recorded 350 cases of dengue, the highest number this year, surpassing Chandigarh and Panchkula.
