Ambala Deputy Commissioner recommends action against executive engineer

An explanation was also sought from the executive engineer but he failed to give a satisfactory answer.

Ambala Deputy Commissioner Prabhjot Singh has recommended departmental action against executive engineer, Panchayati Raj, Ashok Kumar as he was found absent in ‘Janta Camp’ organised by Health Minister Anil Vij at Ambala on September 21.

In a written communication to Additional Chief Secretary (Development and Panchayats), the DC said that a weekly camp is organised by the Health Minister at Ambala on every Wednesday with the objective of on-the-spot redressal of grievances of citizens. Despite the orders issued to all the district officers to remain present in the camp on September 21, the executive engineer did not attend the camp. An explanation was also sought from the executive engineer but he failed to give a satisfactory answer.
