Suzuki Motor Corp chairman Osamu Suzuki on Sunday said that making any comment on his preference between Haryana and Gujarat for the company’s plant “will create misunderstanding”. “Since the Gujarat plant will become operational after three years, any comment will create misunderstanding… it is unfair to make a judgment. I have experience in Haryana, not in Gujarat,” Suzuki said when asked about his preference between the two states. Suzuki, who met Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here, avoided to reply to a query on whether Maruti Suzuki India would employ contract or casual workers in Gujarat.
