Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Hanifa School at Borsad in Anand district, has bagged the British Council International Award (ISA) 2015-18.

The award is for three years. The schools after getting the award can participate in it again after three years.

According to principal Harinder Dhillon, her school had undertaken seven different projects for academic year 2014-15, titled `national fruits’, `a tale of two places-Gujarat and Egypt’, `jobs at my school’, `unfurling the flags’, `who’s who in my family’, `a game to play-kabaddi’ and `money to spend’.

Dhillon said that the projects had helped the students to connect and share information and ideas with students of a school abroad. She said Hanifa School partnered with the Washing Well Primary School, UK, for the completion of ISA project in which Hanifa School students taught the UK school students Kabaddi and learnt Tag Rugby from them in return.
