A few days after a cobra was found inside the Congress office in Nanpura area here, the presence of a Night Heron in the office caught party workers by surprise on Monday. Volunteers of an NGO were called in to capture the bird. Coordinator of the NGO said herons feed on frogs, aquatic insects and small fishes, and since the Congress office is situated on the banks of Tapi, there is a possibility of the birds presence in the area. As party workers mostly remain outside while preparing for the Assembly elections to be held later this year, the office generally remains vacant these days, allowing entry of snakes, birds and stray dogs.
