Copper futures traded a shade lower at Rs 327.65 per kg on Thursday as speculators reduced their positions amid weak global cues.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in far-month February shed 30, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 327.65 per kg, in a business turnover of one lot.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in November was down 15 paise, or 0.05 per cent, to Rs 321.85 per kg in 151 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in copper futures to a weak global trend where metal weakened coupled with low demand form consuming industries at the domestic spot markets.
