Menthol prices fell by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today due to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.

Increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh also weighed on the menthol prices.

Menthol bold crystal,flake and mentha oil prices fell by Rs 10 each to settle at Rs 1,670,Rs 1,570 and Rs 1,500 per kg,respectively.

Caustic soda flake (50 kg) Rs 1,950-2,050,citric acid (50 kg) (China) Rs 3,200-3,400,citric acid deshi (50 kg) Rs 3,000-3,600,camphor slab (1 kg) Rs 370,camphor powder (1kg) Rs 330,glycerine (1 kg) Rs 150-320,hexamine (1kg) Rs 98,hydrogen peroxide (1 kg) Rs 40-60,menthol bold crystal (per kg) Rs 1,670,menthol flake (1 kg) Rs 1,570 and mentha oil (1kg) Rs 1,500.
