Jeera prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on reduced offtake by retailers and stockists due to fall in demand in the domestic markets amid adequate stocks.
Jeera common and best quality fell by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 14,700-14,800 and Rs 17,900-18,400 per quintal, respectively.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by retailers and stockists due to subdued domestic demand against adequate stocks mainly put pressure on jeera prices in the wholesale kirana market here.
