Honda Motorcycles and Scooters on Friday launched its new commuter segment bike ‘Honda Livo’ at an event in Delhi. The new motorcycle is launched under the tagline ‘Time To Live’. It has replaced the popular Honda CB Twister in the segment. The Honda Livo is available in two variants – Self-Drum-Alloy and Self-Disc-Alloy.
The newly launched Honda Livo is powered by a 110cc, 4- stroke engine that churns out maximum power of 9.2PS @ 7500 rpm while producing peak torque of 8.63 Nm @ 5500 rpm. Coupled with the motor is a 4-speed transmission. Moreover, the new motorcycle comes with the HET technology. The bike comes with an aerodynamic design with newly designed tail-light, black coloured muffler and innovative instrument console. The length of the bike measures at 2,020mm while its width stands at 746mm. The height of the new Honda Livo is 1,099mm.
The brand new motorcycle from Honda comes with a ground clearance of 180mm. The two-wheeler manufacturer has provided the bike with adjustable suspension system that will offer the customers a comfortable ride. As far as the braking system is concerned, the drum brake only variant comes fitted with 180mm brakes at both front and rear. On the other hand, the disc brake version of the Livo gets 240mm at the front while it employs drums at the rear. According to the company, the bike will offer a fuel mileage of 74 kmpl. Furthermore, it comes with a fuel tank capacity of 8.5 litres.
The Honda Livo comes with four colour options – Athletic Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Sunset Brown Metallic and Black. Honda has priced the Self-Disc-Alloy variant at Rs. 52,989 while the Self-Disc-Alloy variant is priced at Rs. 55,489 (ex- showroom, Delhi). The company has opened bookings for the new Honda Livo.
