New Delhi, Feb 15 (ANI): Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Prakash Karat on Monday visited the JNU campus to express solidarity with the protesting students. Taking potshots at Home Minister Rajnath Singh's statement that JNU incident was supported by Hafiz Saeed, he said that Home Minister relies on a 'fake' Twitter handle. He further said that they were not perturbed by some unwarranted elements imposing the label of 'anti-national' on them. New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): 'Joining the league of several actors, noted Indian actor Kamal Haasan made a grand entry on Twitter on the occasion of Republic Day. The south superstar's first tweet was a video of the rendition of the National Anthem in his voice. Kamal Haasan captioned the video as, "India's freedom struggle remains unique even today. Respecting it is d only way to keep it and set new world standards." The actor's account which was verified within a few hours of his first tweet got over 30,000 followers in 24 hours. Kamal Haasan's elder daughter Shruti Haasan also welcomed the actor on the micro blogging site by citing him as his "most favourite person". The actor, who has won several accolades throughout his career, is one of the popular and biggest stars of cinema in south India.
