New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Expressing solidarity with the One Rank One Pension (OROP) veterans, Punjab Congress President Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday said it is his duty to stand with them. He said he was always available for the OROP veterans. He added that this issue has been raised for a long time by the Opposition and they would continue to do so till their demands were accepted.

New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): The ex-servicemen staged a protest outside Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's residence here on Sunday over the delay in implementation of the One Rank One Pension (OROP). One of the protestors said that Jaitley had assured the ex-servicemen of discussing OROP with Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, but nothing has been done so far. OROP demands same pension, for same rank, for same length of service, irrespective of the date of retirement.
