New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): The Delhi Police on Wednesday detained protesting National Students Union of India (NSUI) workers for shouting anti-BJP slogans. They also torched BJP flags and an effigy representing the ruling party. One of the protestors criticised the Centre for punishing the innocents and allowing the guilty to escape punitive action.

New Delhi, Jan 09 (ANI): Police officials on Saturday detained activists and students protesting against the Ram Janmabhoomi seminar at the Delhi University (DU). The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) members had earlier sat on a protest outside the Vice Chancellor's office, saying that programs which divide the students on the basis of their religion, should not be allowed in the university.

New Delhi, Jan 07 (ANI): The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) members staged a protest outside the Vice Chancellor's office here on Thursday against the Delhi University's decision to allow a seminar on Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The two-day seminar titled "Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Temple: Emerging Scenario" is scheduled to begin on January 9 at the Delhi University's Arts Faculty.
