New Delhi, Feb 16 (ANI): Senior Congress leaders, including Ghulam Nabi Azad, Kapil Sibal met President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday evening to brief him about the happenings in Arunachal Pradesh. Briefing the media after meeting the President, Congress leader Sibal said they have requested the former to ensure that the Constitution is followed and obeyed in formation of government in Arunachal Pradesh. He further said that any act of Centre to swear in Khaliko Pul would be unconstitutional.

He recalled that current Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had once said that there should be no retrospective action in any matter, and now the government has gone back on that view. New Delhi, Feb 15 (ANI): Congress leader Kapil Sibal on Monday rubbished Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah’s comment on the Jawaharlal Nehru University row, saying he did not have the stature to lecture Congress president Sonia Gandhi or vice president Rahul Gandhi on the issue of nationalism. Sibal said instead of dealing with the university students in the way that they should be dealt with, the BJP was busy proving that they were criminals. Sibal further stated that India is no more under British rule and added that Amit Shah and PM Modi cannot stop these young children from speaking their minds.
